“You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of human masters.” 1 Corinthians 7:23

Dear Lord Jesus,

It is difficult to express the deep thankfulness and gratitude of Your atonement for our sins, allowing us to be reconciled with our Creator.

Thank You for breaking our chains and setting us free.

Thank You for being the Good Shepherd whose true disciples know Your voice.

Thank You for being the resurrection and the Life.

Anyone who believes in You will have life eternal.

Forgive our proclivity to prefer our human thoughts over Your divine word, our love of human masters and slave owners over Your kingship, and our preference for darkness rather than light.

For You are the Righteous One, Emmanuel, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, amen.
