Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for loving us so much that You willingly endured grotesque and humiliating suffering to die on that cross.

Grant that I remove my ego and pride so that I can begin to understand and receive the blessings of a fertile heart.

Grant that I am a blessing to others, seeing them as You see them, loving them as You love them, living with a heart of flesh.

Thank You for the blessings You bestow when we trust in You. Thank You for the grace we receive when we surrender our will to You.

Thank You for the power in Your name as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fearing no evil.

Grant that I radiate Your love to others and that You find me a holy and acceptable sacrifice so that You can work in me and through me today. Amen.
