“And Samuel said, ‘Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obedience to the voice of the Lord? Surely, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.’” 1 Samuel 15:22

Dear Lord God,

Great You are and wonderful is Your voice. Grant me intentionality to empty myself, release my ego, escape the world, sit with You, and rejoice in Your voice.

Grant me a growing obedience to what I hear and an increasing faith that You will make the way, and an increasing trust that I can call on Your name in times of need and spiritual attack. Thank You for Your steadfast rescue.

Lord, grant that my family, my circle, my brothers and sisters, grow in obedience to what You ask them to do for the kingdom. Thank You, Lord, and amen.
