“Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor.” John 12:26

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for what You do for me daily and Your willingness to accept my outstretched hand.

Grant me the continued strength to deny myself daily and carry my cross, in order to fully follow You. The evil one is so busy here on earth that I pray I always follow You as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death so that I fear no evil as Your rod, staff, and powerful name protect me.

Place a powerful hedge of protection over my family and the families of all whom you have made known to me. Thank You for those You have sent to guide me as I follow You. Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
