Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for the peace and joy You deliver when we follow Your will.

Forgive our human understanding and our weak nature that equates friendship with Satan’s world and friendship with You.

Forgive our lack of obedience and reparation because we’d rather do what Satan directs rather than what You did for us on the cross.

Forgive our greed and ego and how we’d rather trust ourselves rather than trust You.

Forgive our foolishness that thinks we control outcomes and others, that we can lord ourselves over others.

Thank You for the signs that You deliver that make it clear that You are the only answer in a broken world and that You win in the end.

Allow me to gather as many disciples as You see fit and deliver them to You, fully surrendered, with clean hearts, Lord Jesus, Amen.
