Acts 4:25

Dear Lord Jesus,

Forgive us as we continue to crucify You daily with humankind’s rejection of You.

Forgive our indifference.

Forgive our desire to act as our own god, thinking that we are most wise.

Forgive our foolishness to think we know better than the Father.

Forgive our desire for friendship with the world.

Forgive our lack of intentionality in focusing on what is above in the heavenly places.

Forgive our unwillingness to hand it over to You, to break our chains.

Forgive our lack of trust to surrender it all to You, as You surrendered all for us.

Today, I will trust fully in You as my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
