Dear King of Kings,

Thank You for the pain and suffering You allow us to experience to give us a small measure of the bitter cup of Your sacred passion. Remove my ego and pride so that I can carry my cross with You up that hill to Golgatha.

Allow me to be on Your right, declaring You my Lord, asking for mercy and forgiveness. Strip me bare, so that I have a humble and contrite heart. Empty me of self, so that I can receive Your mercy and healing. Allow me to forgive so that judgment melts away.

Allow me to receive Your cup of peace and joy through surrender to Your Father's will for my life. Forgive me for every time I did not accept Your outstretched hand. Allow my family to not have hardened hearts. Fully remove any scales from their eyes so that they can see the truth.

Allow them to radiate Your light so that Lucifer lives in fear of them. Fill their cup with trust and obedience to you. Thank you for everything You have done for us, are doing, and will do for us. Lord Jesus,
