“...your heart has become proud in your wealth.” Ezekiel 28:5

Dear Father God, Creator of all, worthy of all praise,

Create in me a clean heart, stripped of ego, pride, and greed. Remove my blindness so that I understand that increased wealth does not correlate to increased moral standing for someone who should be worshipped.

Stir the spirit inside me so that, as Ezekiel heard Your voice and knew the truth, so may I, as a humble servant doing Your will.

Use me today; grant that I am an empty vessel; lead me to the people I need and to the people who need me, all to further Your will. Make straight my path.

Thank You for Jesus, and for saving the wretch like me. Jesus, the Name above all names, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, the Good Shepherd. Thank You and amen.
