Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for what You do for us in turning us into new creations with hearts of flesh. Grant that I sufficiently empty myself of my ego and pride so that You can fill my heart with love. Remove any grudges and fill it with Your charity.

Forgive me of my sins and allow me to be a humble servant of Yours today. Grant me sandals fit for telling the gospel. Grant me a firm grip on Your sword and shield as I navigate the world today and work for You to save souls and remove them from Satan's grasp. I fear no evil for You are with me. Your rod and staff comfort me.

Grant that I acknowledge You in all things, giving thanks always, praying without ceasing, and not relying on my human understanding so that You make straight my path. Grant that I willingly surrender to Your will and plan for my life so that I bear much fruit for You. Thank You for all You do for me and my family because of Your unending love, mercy, and grace.
