Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for being the calm in the storm, the immovable rock in a flood. Grow me into Your likeness as You move me away from my former skin. In You I trust as surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life as I follow Your will. Change my heart. Give rest to my soul.

Loosen my grip on my ego and pride so that I can strengthen my grip on Your sword of the Spirit and Your shield of faith. In You there's unlimited power and joy when we abandon self and allow you to work through us. Thank You for the amazing grace You bestow upon us, Your infinite mercy, Your sacred heart. Who will You send today? Send me.

I give thanks to You with my whole heart. I will tell of Your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exalt in You. I will sing praise to Your name, Jesus, Amen.
