Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your great patience, kindness, love, forgiveness, and mercy.

Thank You for modeling the forgiveness and mercy that we are to extend to those who offend us.

Thank You for the forbearance You extend to the imperfect such as me.

Forgive me my sins and extend Your mercy. Break my chains. Soften my heart.

Thank You for Your righteous judgment before whom every knee shall bend.

Cleanse my heart. Grant that I extend mercy as You extend mercy to me.

Grant that I trust You more every day. Grant that I release my ego and pride so that I can live more surrendered to You.

Thank You for all the fruits of the Spirit. Grant that I radiate all of them to others.

Lead me to people I need and to people who need me.

You are the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, Amen.
