“Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:11
Dear Father God,
Thank You for creating effective ways to stand against the devil until the time that You call us home.
We can surrender to the ways of the world —or— we can surrender to Jesus, making Him our Lord. The world or Your Word; it is our choice.
Thank You for Your armor, which is so effective at thwarting the arrows of the evil one. Grant that I don Your armor daily and encourage others to do the same so that they find peace and joy, and are not led astray by the lies of the evil one.
Father God, lead me to people that I need and to people who need me. Thank You for the powerful name of Jesus, before whom every knee shall bend and the evil spirits fear. Amen.
