“...giving thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20

Dear Father God, Creator of all,

Thank You for creating each of us with a divine purpose and a unique but similar role to play in the body of Christ, His church, so it can function properly.

Forgive us, Lord Jesus, when we refuse to accept our assignment or run from it, thereby causing dysfunction in the body, as the role assigned to us is left unfilled or lacking.

Grant an outpouring of the Holy Spirit as the strong encourage the weak, building up the entire body, one body, strong, united, and surrendered to Your will, as You, Father God, and You, Lord Jesus, are one.

May they know we are Christians by our love; love best exemplified by Jesus, our Savior and our Lord. Amen.
