“Whoever says, 'I have come to know him,' but does not obey his commandments, is a liar, and in such a person the truth does not exist;” 1 John 2:4

Dear Father God,

I praise You and acknowledge You in all things. Your will be done.

Grant that I release my ego, pride, and greed so that I can walk with Your Son, Jesus, truly abiding in Him, in truth. Grant that all my words and actions identify me as someone obedient to the truth, not the dirty rags of the world, where personal status outshines You.

Satan is working hard to throw us off course, and therefore I submit myself fully to You, to walk with Jesus, to be guided by the Holy Spirit, so that Your will is done always, with full effort and confidence because of Your saving grace. Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
