Dear Lord,

You are my Shepherd. I fear no evil.

You lay me down beside still waters. You restore my soul. You are always with me when I am in the world, in the darkness, and with the lukewarm. You comfort me with Your rod and staff, forming me into the image of Christ for Your purpose. Guiding me away from my old skin so that I can walk confidently and joyfully in my new. You anoint my head with oil, shower me with blessings, surround me with Your goodness, protect me, all in the presence of Your enemies and the non-believers.

Thank You for giving me a heart of flesh. Grant that I always have eyes that see, ears that hear, a neck not stiff, a soul that obeys, and a will that surrenders. Strengthen my grip on Your sword, and shield. Loosen my grip on my ego and pride. Lead me to people I need, and to people who need me.

I thank you, I worship You, I love You. Thank You for choosing me. Use me today. Work through me, fill me with Your Spirit. I am Yours, You are mine.
