“But whoever hates another believer is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know the way to go, because the darkness has brought on blindness.” 1 John 2:11

Dear Lord,

Create in me a clean heart. Grant that I release my ego, pride, and greed so that there is more room for You to abide in me.

Grant that I see others with Your eyes as Your creation, so I can more fully extend charity, compassion, and pity.

Grant that I can break away from the darkness, always choosing light; radiating Your glow and love.

Lord, allow me patience, kindness, and understanding towards all, especially my family. Grant that I cast every anxiety onto You. Grant that I seek You for answers and guidance, always, never relying on my human understanding.

Lord Jesus, grant this, amen.
