“I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning.” 1 John 2:13

Dear Heavenly Father, Creator of all,

Thank You for creating us in Your image and making known to us Your Son, Jesus the Christ, who is the beginning and the end.

Allow me to be the father that You intend for the family that You have bestowed upon me, to guide them to You, trusting in You, calling on You, relying on Your will for their lives.

Grant that I release my ego and pride so that I can break from the grip of the world, be made a new creation in Christ, and live as I am created, in Your image, trusting without border.

I ask these things in the name of the Alpha and the Omega, Prince of Peace, Lord of lords, King of kings, the Paschal Lamb, Wonderful Counselor, Jesus, amen.
