Almighty God, our father in Heaven,

Thank You for your promises to us. Thank you for your faithful and obedient prophets who listened to and followed Your will. Thank Your servant Isaiah who gave us your word that a virgin will bear a son and he shall be called Immanuel.

Thank You for telling us through Jeremiah, six hundred years before the Coming of Christ, that "The days are coming says the Lord, when I will fulfill the promise made to the house of Israel and Judah. In those days, in that time, I will raise up for David a just shoot: He shall do what is right and just is the Lord.” Thank You for choosing Mary and Joseph. Thank You for giving them obedient souls, wills willing to surrender fully to Your will, full of Your Spirit and Grace.

In this special season of remembrance, use me, use my family to continue the glad tidings. To shout that the messiah is born, upon whom all salvation rests.

He is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Alleluia, Now and forever,
