"But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah, who are one of the little clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to rule in Israel, whose origin is from of old, from ancient days."

Micah 5:2

Dear Father God, Creator of all,

We praise You and worship You for on this day a Savior has been born, the Word Made Flesh, the perfect atoning sacrifice through Whom we can become Your children; knowing You because we know Him.

Father God, grant that more accept their Divine calling so that the world can know peace and joy. Use me to spread Your word and the truth of the gospel. Grant that I may release my ego and pride, so that I may trust in You more, hear Your voice, and respond without fear.

Thank You for creating me for a time such as this. Thank You for putting my brothers and me on the front line. Thank You for the stone and sling shot - Your sword and shield - which is all that I need to slay the evil one each day.

Grant that I daily show my immense gratitude for what Jesus has done for a sinner like me, breaking me out of conformity to a broken world and its ruler.

Thank Lord Jesus, my Savior, Good Shepherd, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Emmanuel, my Lord.
