“First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,” 2 Peter 1:20

Dear Heavenly Father, Creator of all,

I praise You and worship You. Thank You for speaking to us through Your written word. Thank You for those You chose to receive it and transcribe it. Thank You for it being as true today as it was when first received.

Forgive us for how we allow Satan to twist it in our minds and in our hearts, and then profess our human understanding as divine, and then lead others astray.

In the name of Jesus, grant that more hearts accept the Holy Spirit and that their minds are open to all scripture, not just the scripture that they agree with. Grant us all clean hearts, burning for our Savior and Lord, Jesus the Christ. Amen.
