Dear Lord Jesus,

Good morning! Grant that I greet this day with love in my heart, living it as if it is my last. Living it as one in need of repentance, mercy, and grace.

Heal me so that I have ears that listen, eyes that are open, a heart that understands.

Heal my indifference, my lukewarmness, my stiff neck, my ego, my pride, my picking and choosing of Your word that is convenient to me, my thinking that I know better than You, that I am ever capable of judging others. Forgive me.

Grant that today I reach for Your always outstretched hand as a child.

Lead me, guide me, form me today. You are the potter, and I am the clay. Form me in a way that puts a smile on Your face.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, Amen.
