Dear Lord Jesus,

You came to serve, not be served. Everyone who sees you, sees Him who sent You. Everyone who believes in You, believes in Him who sent You.

Grant me a willingness to serve others in order to grow disciples for you. Grant me a heart of flesh to love my brothers and sisters in Christ. Grant us the capacity to build each other up in Your word. Grant me a servant heart, a loving soul, a mind of wisdom.

Grant that I live surrendered to You through whom I can do all things. Grant that I live in Your strength, not my human strength. Grant that I wear your breastplate of righteousness, and not seek human glory. Grant that I always walk in Your light so that the devil lives in fear of me.

Grant that my entire family walks in Your light, never to stumble in the darkness, and even though they walk in the world, they will fear no evil for Your rod and staff will always comfort them. Anoint their heads with oil and overflow their cups.

You are the name above all other names, the Word made flesh, the Way, the Miracle Worker, Jesus, my Savior and Lord,
