“For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14

Dear Lord Jesus,

Forgive us for how we love to judge others, thinking of ourselves as so superior.

Forgive our overwhelming desire to remove the speck from our neighbor’s eye.

Forgive our thinking that we are not broken and not living in a broken world.

Forgive our disdain for broken people.

Forgive our refusal to follow You, preferring our own wisdom and serving as our own god, judging our own actions as perfect.

Forgive how we judge others in their worship practice of You, thinking of ourselves as superior.

Thank You for Your overwhelming patience, mercy, and grace as we navigate this world dominated by Satan.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
