Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for not giving to us as the world gives. Thank You for revealing yourself to all who love you. Thank You for living inside of us, for abiding in anyone who abides in You. Thank You for the gift of peace. Thank You for the gift of fearlessness. The world has no power over You or us.

Continue to shine Your light upon us, Your protected flock. Shine it brightly so that your flock can easily follow You, our good shepherd, and not be distracted by the many wolves circling the herd.

I am Yours, You are mine. Your precious blood poured for mine. You call us every day with open arms. Through you, we can do all things, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

You are everything we need.

Loosen my grip on my ego and pride. Strengthen my grip on the sword and shield. Walk with me beside verdant pastures. Shine Your light brightly upon my family, and my family of believers, so that the world has no power over them.

I ask this in Your Name, my Savior and Lord, the Alpha and the Omega, the wonderful name of Jesus,
