“For the love of God is this, that we obey his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome,” 1 John 5:3

Dear Father God, Creator of all,

Thank You for knowing us best, since the beginning of time.

Thank You for Your word, through which we can live truly blessed.

Thank You for Your Son, Jesus, through whom we have the gift of life eternal - and a transformed life from the grip of the world, if we so choose.

Thank You for the Holy Spirit, through whom we can receive its fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, kindness, and self-control.

Thank You for how when we live in the Trinity, there is no burden, only fulfillment.

Grant me an undivided heart so that I can be closer to You and hear Your voice.

Grant me the eyes of Jesus, so that I can see the world clearly.

Grant that I empty myself sufficiently so that the Holy Spirit can work fully in me, so that I am not burdened.

I pray this in the name of my Savior and Lord, Jesus the Christ, through whom every knee shall bend.
