Dear Lord Jesus,

You told us that whoever receives one whom You send receives You; and whoever receives You, receives Him who sent You.

Grant me the patience, kindness, loving and understanding to receive those You send. Grant me eyes that see, ears that hear, a heart of flesh, a soul that obeys. Loosen my grip on my ego and pride and strengthen my grip on the sword and shield. Continue to lead me to people I need and to people who need me.

Thank You for Your commandment that we love one another, just as You love us, so that everyone knows we are Your disciples. Thank You for removing our fear. Thank You for giving us peace. Thank You for being our foundation. Thank You for the many miracles You perform each and every day.

Shine Your light brightly upon my family and grant that they radiate it just as brightly so that the devil never approaches, and that others currently living in darkness can find the light through them.
