“Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God;” 1 John 3:21

Dear Father God,

Thank You for creating me and always knowing my heart. Any part of my heart that I reserve for resentment, envy, greed, and hate is a part of my heart that I keep from You.

Thank You for the commandment to love You with all of my heart.

Thank You for Jesus and the example of His Sacred Heart. Thank You for the clarity that Jesus wants our hearts. Thank You that our tongues reveal our hearts. Create in me a clean heart.

Thank You for always answering the prayers of the righteous. Grant that I pray more boldly. Grant that my heart never condemns me. Send Your Spirit and fill me with its fruits as I empty myself.
