“and you show that you are a letter of Christ, prepared by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” 2 Corinthians 3:3

Dear Father God, Creator of all,

Thank You for creating us with a heart fully capable of loving You and loving others, a heart that seeks You, that yearns for You, that is desperate for You.

Thank You for Your Spirit that softens our hearts so that we can receive all the fruits of Your Spirit, beginning with love.

Thank You that we can identify other Christians by our love; not our hate.

Grant that all those who identify as a follower of Jesus decide not to live with a divided heart. Grant them a heart fully on fire for You in all things.

Grant me the understanding of the infinite love, mercy, forgiveness, and grace that Jesus offers and asks of us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
