Dear Lord,

Grant that I am sufficiently surrendered to You in order to be born again in Your spirit so that I can gain a better wisdom of understanding.

Grant that I always take refuge in You rather than placing trust in princes and mortals.

Grant that my heart yearns for Your strength and might as Your steadfast love endures forever.

Grant that my faith becomes stronger as the evil one and his temptations flee from me and he loses all power over me and my loved ones.

Grant that my heart never becomes cold to Your children born in Your image. Grant that a fire is ignited in my heart as I reach for Your outstretched hand and surrender to Your true purpose for my life. Grant that all my spiritual gifts You have blessed me with are activated for Your glory and purpose.

You are my Lord God, my rock and redeemer, the true light in the darkness. Glory forever, Amen.
