“For while we live, we are always being given up to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may be made visible in our mortal flesh.” 2 Corinthians 4:11

Dear Lord Jesus,

Grant that every day I die to self.

Grant that every day, I die to the flesh.

Grant that every day, I die to the world.

Grant that I empty myself daily so that You can fill me with Spirit.

Grant that I empty myself daily so that there is plenty of room for You to live in me.

Grant that I die so that I can truly live.

Thank You for how You remove my ego and pride. If it is agreeable to You, please remove certain afflictions that may be unnecessary.

Lord Jesus, I die to You today so that I may live anew with my joy complete. Amen.
