Father God,

Without You I am nothing. Without You I am just a man living in sin, full of ego, greed, lust, gluttony. Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for forming me. Thank you for growing me into the likeness of Jesus.

Grant that I continue to walk away from my old skin in my new life, transformed by the Spirit. Grant that I continue to carry my cross and walk with Jesus. Please fasten my sandals and belt so that all my steps are on solid foundation with Jesus, not on the shifting sand of the world. Thank You for answered prayers.

Grant that I grow in my surrender to you. Use me for Your purpose. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me. Work through me so that Your will be done. Your will is so much greater than my own.

Grant that I grow every day in the knowledge of Jesus, that I grow in my surrender of Jesus, that I acknowledge Him in all things, giving thanks always, praying without ceasing. Thank You for transforming my heart into a heart of flesh.

I pray this in the name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
