“And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 13:52

Lord,

Thank You for the joy we receive when our hearts are no longer hardened.

Thank You for the joy we receive when we are obedient to all Your word and not just the parts we find agreeable.

Forgive our desire for scrutiny rather than trust.

Forgive our desire to judge poorly other disciples.

Forgive our condescending view of other believers.

Forgive how we allow the evil one to win.

I ask that You send Your Spirit as we walk the path that You intend for us on earth, which is surrender to You as our Lord and Savior.
