Dear Father,

Guide me today so that Your will be done. Encourage me to walk boldly and humbly with Jesus. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me. Grant that I am a blessing to others today. Grant me that gift.

Eliminate my grip on my ego and pride. Strengthen my grip on Your sword and shield. Grant that I live in Your word, and not in the world. Make straight my path. Fill me with faith, hope, and love. Transform me into the likeness of Jesus. Grant me a will to carry my cross. Grant me the fruits of Your Spirit to allow me to be a good spouse and parent and to keep my family close to You.

Thank You for always knowing what is best for me and guiding me in that direction. Grant that I always follow Your lead. Thank You for covering me to Your goodness and continue to guard me from the evil one who runs freely on this earth. Use me to glorify You today.
