“Be dressed for action and have your lamps lit;” Luke 12:35

Dear Lord Jesus,

I eagerly await Your coming and doing my part to prepare others for that day.

I will dress daily in the full armor of God, firmly holding the shield of faith and wielding the sword of the Spirit, the word of God. I will wear the breastplate of righteousness, being in proper relationship with God, not separated in any way.

I will always stand ready, deflecting all the arrows of the evil one. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Your rod and staff comfort me.

I will radiate Your light to others so that they do not reside in the darkness. I will do my best to remain in the Spirit, in a state of grace, in order for You to work through me, Lord Jesus, amen.
