Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending the light into this dark world. Thank You for the gift of Your son Jesus through whom all can be healed. Grant that I can see clearly Your face. Grant that I always put my trust in You. Teach me the way to go. Make straight my paths. Release my grip on my ego and pride so that I can lift my soul to You. Teach me to do Your will and to follow where You lead. Restore my soul, lead me beside verdant pastures, be with me as I walk through the day, and grant that Your spirit works through me so that You be glorified.

Grant peace and joy to my family because they love You and honor You daily. Protect them from evil and temptation. Use them as examples to others of Your saving grace.

Grant that this is an amazing day, and I am aware of all the miracles You are performing as You make straight the path. Amen.
