“They shall fling their silver into the streets, their gold shall be treated as unclean. Their silver and gold cannot save them on the day of the wrath of the Lord . They shall not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity.”
Ezekiel 7:19
Dear Lord God, worthy of all our praise,
Forgive us how we place the idols of this world far ahead of You; worshipping them in Your stead, our focus and our hearts on them.
Forgive how we impart this on our children and friends; modeling these idols as most important.
Grant me a heart transformation; remove the scales from my eyes allowingme to see the error of my ways. Make clear my calling; grant me an assignment; guide me to the purpose with which You created me. Grow me into that man. Allow my family to be blessed because of it. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
