“I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them; I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,” Ezekiel 11:19

Dear Wonderful God, Perfect Creator, worthy of all our praise, for whom we must cast away all idols,

All praise, glory, and honor, as wonderful are Your ways. Grant me a heart of flesh so that I can love You with all of it, and my neighbor as myself; likewise with my mind and soul.

Remove my heart of stone and my stiff neck. Make me a new creation, one that walks in Your Spirit, guided by You and Your voice. Shielded from the arrows of the evil one.

Allow me to be an effective member of the body of Christ, fruitful and obedient, for my Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Word Made Flesh. Amen.
