Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for how You present Yourself to us as the bread of life in the Eucharist. Thank You for how You are always available to us with Your always outstretched hand. Thank You for inspiring so many to find and preserve artifacts of Your crucifixion so that our faith is always strong. I pray that more and more come to understand the true sacrifice You provided us as Lamb of God, and the precious blood You poured for our past, current and future sins. Forgive us as we continue to crucify You daily with our lack of love, forgiveness, obedience, and appreciation of the amazing gift You have provided, to be invited to Your wedding feast as our bridegroom.

Grant that I can sufficiently empty myself daily so that I recognize Your blessing in every obstacle I encounter and Your gift in every good fortune. Thank You for caring so much for someone as wretched as me. Thank You for how You bless me daily and thank You for how You guide me to love You more and more.

Continue to grow me as Your disciple, sweet Jesus, Amen.
