Dear Holy Spirit,

Guide me in the truth. Declare to me the things that are to come. Declare to me the gifts that will bear the fruit that You desire. Cleanse me of my sins and of my worldly thoughts so that my only desire is to live in You and You in me. Grant that my talents multiply Your fruit and grow others in the truth.

Eradicate my ego and pride so that You can live in me, and I am equipped to do Your will with conviction and courage in a world that hates the truth.

Be my advocate in this valley of darkness. Be my light as I negotiate the evil of the world. Guide me, lead me, correct me, to do Your will.

Grant me all Your gifts, especially self-discipline, so that I can be a faithful and trusted servant.

I ask these requests in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, Amen.
