Dear Lord Jesus,

The more we know You, the more our joy is complete.

You experienced the bitterness and anguish of Calvary as an eternal gift to us of Your immense love.

Forgive my apathy in not crawling on my knees daily to Your altar to receive the gift of Your body and graces, poured out for all who will accept it, who acknowledge and worship You.

Thank You for being our Good Shepherd, and thank You for allowing me to be a sheep that hears Your voice. Thank You for leading me back to Your flock when I was lost.

I thank You and today I will honor You with my effort to do Your will and to live with Your light brightly in the darkness.

You are our Rock and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, Amen.
