“And he said to them, ‘Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.’” Luke 12:15

Dear Lord Jesus,

Take my heart of stone and give me a heart of flesh so that I can be a generous giver, loving and compassionate.

Grant that I remove my ego and pride so that I can be filled with the Holy Spirit and receive all of its fruits: generosity, joy, love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Grant that I am an encourager, a blessing to others, and that I use the financial blessings You have given me to advance Your kingdom, Your ecclesia, Your charity.

Grant that I can see others through Your eyes, Lord Jesus, through Your Sacred Heart, with a spirit of generosity to all.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
