“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, ‘He catches the wise in their craftiness.” 1 Corinthians 3:19

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray for all of humankind, all made in Your image. I pray for the doubtful, those who have turned away, those who prefer darkness to the light.

Open their eyes, and open my eyes to where I am blind. Reveal where I walk with the evil one.

Grant that I seek what is above, foregoing friendship with the world.

Grant that I seek You; cast away my ego so I can hear Your voice.

Grant me the courage and conviction to walk Your straight path, not the alternate path offered by the serpent.

Thank You for working all things for good for those who love You and are working for Your purpose.

Thank You for the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which beats with our hearts. Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
