“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:19

Dear Heavenly Father,

You know this is one of my favorite scripture verses.

I will rejoice always, for it is Your will being done. Grant that I surrender my will to Yours so that it is much easier to rejoice and to rejoice more fully.

I will pray without ceasing. Thank You for always listening and answering—such a humble honor for a sinner such as me.

I will give thanks in all circumstances. Everything I have is a gift from You. Everything. Your gifts bring immense joy and peace. Thank You for creating each of us with a divine purpose.

Thank You for the gift of Christ Jesus, who offers grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness and only asks for our hearts in return.

Grant that I surrender my heart minute by minute to my Lord Jesus, as I know this brings Him joy.

Thank You, Jesus, Prince of Peace, amen.
