“For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-19

Dear all-powerful God,

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Lead us not into temptation; deliver us from evil.

Grant that I place more trust in You daily.

Grant that I rely less on my wisdom and more on Your word daily.

Thank You for always confounding the wise and frustrating the ways of the evil one.

Thank You for how You open the ears of those who call on Jesus and submit to Him as Lord and Savior, amen.
