Dear Word Made Flesh,

Lord, Savior, King of kings, Waymaker, Peacemaker, Chain breaker, Healer, miracle worker, Pascal Lamb, Alpha and Omega, Jesus,

Thank You for what You did for us on that cross and the brutal savagery You suffered by man to make it happen.

Forgive us the suffering we still cause You daily by our indifference, our lukewarmness, our lack of obedience, our lack of sacrifice, our willingness to only follow Your words that we choose to follow, our withholding parts of our heart from You, for chasing the empty seductions of the world instead of Your true graces.

Guide me today to do the Father’s will with courage and conviction. Remove my ego and pride. Send Your Spirit. Allow me to be a blessing to others. Work through me and strengthen me.

Grant that I accept Your always outstretched hand. Lord Jesus, Amen.
