Dear Lord,

In You alone can we trust. Your voice stirs our souls. Your love stirs our hearts. Your mercy stirs our minds. Your grace stirs our entire being.

We have beat You, cut You, bloodied You, crucified You, ignored You, cursed You, lacked belief in Your power and true existence, blamed you, and put more faith in man and the world than You.

Empty me of my sinful pride. Thank You for allowing me to take Your outstretched hand. You move the immovable. You break the unbreakable. You are the only way. You are the truth, the light, and the life. To whom else would I ever go? You have the words of eternal life.

You are the bread of life. Forgive my unbelief and grant me faith the size of a mustard seed. I surrender my will to Yours so that you can make straight my paths. In You, I find peace, love, joy, and self-discipline. Grant that I run this race to win.
