Dear Lord Jesus,

I can never repay You for what You have done for me and continue to do on the altar as the atonement for my sin.

Thank You for so willingly carrying Your cross, subjecting Yourself to man, mustering Your humanity to make it to Golgatha and that cold, barren rock.

Thank You for never forsaking me and remaining with us all days, especially on the altar, as our living sacrifice, so that we may present ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.

Thank You for what You continue to do for us, every single day, until the end of time; warming our hearts, breaking our chains, granting us understanding, gifting us with peace, fulfilling our joy, giving us purpose, encouraging our surrender.

Thank You for the many miracles You will perform today on altars across the world and the miracles You will perform inside of us.

You are Lord of lords, King of kings, sweet Jesus, Amen.
