“I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will make them lie down, says the Lord God.”

Ezekiel 34:15

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul.

Thank You, Lord God, that we can always find rest in You; You will lead us on right paths, for Your name’s sake.

Grant that we may release our ego and pride, and block out the world as we walk through its dark valleys, knowing it is Your rod and staff that protect us.

Grant that we discard our human wisdom, preferring Your voice in the storm. Grant that we know You more every day; make us Yours.

Protect us all from the wolves, who seek to devour and destroy. Grant that we multiply Your flock and more know the sound of Your voice, the True Shepherd, Jesus, Lord and Savior; the Truth and the light. Amen.
