My Lord Jesus,

Thank You for always making Yourself present to us. Truly those who seek You, find. Thank You for abiding in us, when we abide in You. Thank You for making Your flesh the food and Your blood true drink.

Grant us a heart of love that comforts You. Grant us the love and compassion of Veronica when she wiped Your face with her veil as you carried Your cross, heavy and uphill, to that horrible place, Golgotha.

Forgive me for every time I am lukewarm in my love and appreciation for what you have done for me. Grant that I willingly repent. Loosen my grip on my ego and pride and increase my grip on Your rod and staff.

You are the Bread of Life, King of Kings. Grant that I walk with you, taking up my cross daily, walking in the light. Protect me from Satan's throne and his false promises. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me. Use me this way. Allow me to be One of your fishers of men. You are the Beginning and the End, Christ Jesus,
