Dear Lord Jesus,

Grant that I acknowledge my sins so that I can have a clean heart. Eradicate my ego and pride so that I am useful to You. Strengthen my grip on Your rod and staff.

Grant that I radiate Your love today. Work through me to speak Your words and take Your action to help transform others.

Thank You for how You receive the dearly departed with loving, open arms.

Thank You for the power of Your name to break all chains.

Thank You for the power of Your name to conquer all fear.

Grant that I walk with You today, and if I should stumble, that I grasp Your always outstretched hand quickly.

Thank You for all that You will do through me today to glorify You.

Your name is peace and joy. Jesus, my savior and Lord. Amen.
